Funky Gibbon (no, not the song by the Goodies) is a new indoor adventure and soft play area in Hindley Green, just 10 minutes drive from Junction 5 of the M61, opening in January/February '08. With a large 3-storey play frame featuring a host of innovative and excting activities we're aiming to make quite a splash.

We're also working on our baby and toddler area, which is going to have its own special frame designed just for small ones, a specially designed toddle maze, mini climbing frame full of mirrors and games just and a role play area, where there will be stories and painting and we'll be running toddler activities like:

• Toddler Baking
• Painting and Craft Skills
• Music Sessions
• Toddler ball skills.

At certain times of year we'll have practical activities* for older children as well, including:

• Pumpkin carving
• Soap making
• Art and craft activities
• Circus skills

Downstairs we're building a café serving good value, healthy food for both children and adults.

*There will be a small extra charge for these activities.
